Financial Sector Deepening
Alice works with Financial Sector Deepening Africa to identify how more capital can be incentivised to flow towards meeting the Sustainable Development Goals. These areas include clean and affordable energy, affordable housing, sustainable agriculture and healthcare solutions: all of these areas can attract more capital once specific barriers have been addressed. This may require innovative financial products, working with regulators or engaging with others to produce data that recalibrates the long-term risks and returns of not taking action.
