Cambridge University’s Institute for Sustainability Leadership

Alice has designed an online course for Cambridge on Sustainable Finance and has been the Head Tutor. This draws on her experience of working with the finance sector on the barriers to decision-making that takes account of social and environmental factors. The course highlights the need for everyone working in and with the financial system to take a wider view of value that takes account of current and future social and environmental trends. It emphasises the risks of not doing this, but also provides evidence of the opportunities that can arise from adopting this systemic approach. Students from the course come from a range of backgrounds and from all around the world and the course is building a strong network of alumni creating change in the finance sector.
